
Screenwest launches The Feisty Producer’s Toolkit Masterclass Series
Supported through the Industry Development – Workshops and Masterclasses Fund, the eight workshops will run throughout 2025 and kick off next month with The Feisty Producer's Toolkit Masterclass Series.

Adapted from Western Australian author Holden Sheppard’s award-winning novel, the powerful 10-part Stan Original Series Invisible Boys will premiere February 13.
Filmed in Perth and Geraldton, Invisible Boys is an emotional tale of individuality and belonging. Written for screen by a team of queer writers, the series is raw and authentic, depicting facets of gay sexuality often overlooked.

EXCLUSIVE: Invisible Boys, Stan’s emotion-driven drama about the facets of gay sexuality that are often overlooked, now has a release date and a trailer.
The series will launch on the Australian streamer on February 13, starring emerging Australian talent Joseph Zada (East of Eden), Aydan Calafiore (The Voice 2018), Zach Blampied (New Gold Mountain) and Joe Klocek (Territory), alongside Pia Miranda (Windcatcher) and David Lyons (Truth Be Told).

Tania Chambers appointed to Screen Australia board
The Federal Government has appointed Feisty Dame Productions founder Tania Chambers to the Screen Australia Board for three years.
Chambers has worked as an executive and creative, including as chief executive of both Screenwest and Screen NSW, and other roles at Barron Entertainment, the Film Finance Corp, and as a lawyer for the ABC in Sydney.

Tania Chambers receives honorary doctorate from ECU
Edith Cowan University has awarded producer Tania Chambers an honorary doctorate in performing arts.
The uni, which houses the WA Screen Academy and Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), recognised Chambers due to her “dedication and commitment to the film, television and arts industries” over a 35 year career.
